2015-04-18 14:44

How to Avoid Kidney Disease Fall into UremiaHow to avoid kidney disease fall into Uremia ? In clinic, renal insufficiency is in second stage and uremia belongs to end stage renal disease. Therefore, it is very necessary for renal insufficiency patients to avoid uremia in advance.

Experts believe that there are about six aspects for renal insufficiency patients to follow, next let us have a look at them together.

First, the protein intake should be limited within reasonable range. The metabolite of human body are from protein element of diet, in order to decrease workload of remaining kidneys, protein intake should match with excretory capacity of kidneys. For an example, when creatinine is between 170-440ummol/d, protein intake should be 0.6 gram per kilogram of body weight.

Second, supplying essential calory per day is needed. The amount should be at least 35 kilocalorie per kilogram of body weight, which is mainly supplied by sugar. Renal insufficiency patients can eat fruits, chocolate, honey etc.

Third, though some food accord with conditions above mentioned, such as yolk, dried meat floss, as the phosphorus intake amount is high, which can worsen the disease. Therefore, it is not suggested for renal insufficiency patients to choose food like them. Additionally , patients should boil firstly then cook food to decrease phosphorus intake.

Fourth, salt intake should be decided by disease conditions. If patients have high blood pressure with edema, they are advisable to adopt low salt diet, namely 2 grams of salt per day!

Fifth, avoid using drugs which can damage kidneys, like Gentamicin, Sulfonamides, Penicillin and so forth.

Sixth, when patients also suffer diseases like hypertension, diabetes, etc , they need to prevent damage of other diseases outside kidney to kidneys.

Most importantly, the best treatment actually is to do early prevention well. Pathological damage and the process are the main factor of renal insufficiency damage, only stop renal fibrosis development timely, can patients protect kidneys well, then prevent uremia.
