In addition, wheatgrass has been suggested for regulating immune systems and controlling blood sugar. Therefore, we can know wheatgrass juice is good for Diabetics in most cases, but Diabetics should avoid wheatgrass juice when they have the following symptoms.

1. If you have a severe mold allergy, you had better avoid it.

Because wheatgrass grows in moist condition in soil, it may have unseen mold contamination which range from blue fuzz and brown or white mold. The former one is generally harmless and can be washed off, while the later one is pathogenic and impossible to remove. Hence, if you have a severe mold allergy, wheatgrass juice is no longer suitable for you.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Because of the strong grassy flavor, wheatgrass juice is hard to tolerate for some Diabetics and may cause nausea and vomiting soon after consumption. To remit this uncomfortable feeling, you can dilute wheatgrass juice with a little fruit juice, or drink it on an empty stomach in the morning instead of immediately after a meal. If nausea persists, consumption of this juice may make you have an allergy.

3. Pregnancy

When you are pregnant, you had better stop consuming it especially raw wheatgrass juice, because it may aggravate your pregnancy reactions.
